Business Coogee Events
The mission of Business Coogee is connection, support and learning for business people in Coogee and surrounds. You won’t see large-scale public events from this management crew! Lock these networking events in your diary, make new connections, learn from others and make Coogee great again.
BXB: Business by the Beach
On the first Tuesday of every month, 8am to 9am
Coogee Pavilion, Ground Floor, 169 Dolphin Street
Meet with fellow Business Coogee members for a monthly shot of caffeinated connection. The first 20 members to walk in the door receive a complementary coffee from our friends at Merivale.
Bring your business cards or QR codes.
No need to RSVP. Just mark your diary or click on the Facebook event button for event reminders.
NEXT BXB TUESDAY 2 AUGUST

Meet your elected executive committee
In attendance at most Business Coogee events are the members of your executive committee – all locals and all volunteers who give their time and talent to support business to thrive.

Lucy Bloom
President and Secretary
Lucy had a career in advertising before she stepped into the not-for-profit sector as the CEO of an international aid charity funding hospitals in Ethiopia. After two more CEO roles, Lucy prefers to be unemployed and now consults in governance, is a sought-after international keynote speaker, author and CEO coach.

Sam Mehta
Vice President
Sam is a management consultant with particular interest in organisational change. His broad business experience helps leaders to prepare for and transition their organisations and ways of working. If the sun is shining, Sam prefers to be on Coogee Beach than in the boardroom and has an impressive collection of SUPs and kayaks.

Arlys Olson
Treasurer
Every executive committee needs a committed treasurer and Arlys is exactly that for Business Coogee. Arlys is a bookkeeper and registered BAS agent dedicated to helping small business keep their finances on track. She hails from the United States, speaks fluent English and Xero, lives in Clovelly and likes a good savvy B.

Annie de Merindol

Cynthia Colli

Cyn is a web and digital designer, writer and creative allrounder with a focus on sustainability and ethical business. She’s particularly enthusiastic about local environmental issues and came to fame when she led the charge to clean up Coogee beach after the Christmas Day in 2016 that we will never forget.
